Mediencampus Villa Ida

The Mediencampus Villa Ida is situated in the Leipzig district Gohlis and was built by the Media Foundation of Sparkasse Leipzig. It is an unique ensemble of the historic Villa Ida, seat of the foundation, and the modern building being the seat of the Leipzig School of Media, the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom and the European Institute for Journalism and Communication Research. The whole complex is a modern, exclusive venue for seminars, workshops, conferences and events with up to 250 participants. All rooms provide conference equipment and technical support.

The venue can be reached by car (address: Poetenweg 28, underground parking and additional parking facilities around) or local public transport (starting point: main station; tram 4 to Stallbaumstraße or tram 12 to Fritz-Seger-Strasse).
