Pablo Apiolazza

Pablo Apiolazza is a filmmaker, art director and visual storyteller with over 12 years of experience in advertising, visual effects, film and documentary.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he studied image and sound design at FADU. During his studies he already worked for advertising as a digital artist, collaborating in projects for agencies like McCann Erikson, Euro, BBDO, and international clients like Coca-Cola, Siemens, Peugeot, etc.

Then he moved into the film industry first as vfx specialist, and then shifting to documentary producer, looking for a more narrative approach into storytelling, and getting involved in international projects like Beagle, in the search for Darwin.

In 2010 he moved to Italy where he finished a scholarship in entrepreneurship at the MIB school of Management.

Since then he opened APZmedia, a media production company that combines knowhow from advertising, visual effects and filmmaking to create engaging content that goes from short pieces to full blown award winning campaigns and films, focusing mainly in the travel industry.

His current goal is to explore the new mediums and technologies from a narrative standpoint, blending art, strategy and technology to convey human emotions.
